Our team of experts are here to aid fellow medical practices with specialized, holistic approaches that fit each individual patient’s needs. We maintain strong partnerships with other healthcare practitioners in the Bay Area, allowing us to collaborate seamlessly for comprehensive support.

The Importance of Early Intervention

Youth mental health is in crisis, with increasing rates of conditions such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse disorder, and other behavioral problems among teens. Recovery Without Walls is able to work with family physicians, family therapists, and child and teen psychologists to develop customized treatment plans for teen mental health intervention, in order to help this vulnerable group develop effective coping strategies in a confusing world.

Current mental health approaches for “troubled” teenagers are often one-size-fits-all and frequently serve only to traumatize young minds further.

Our integrative approach to family therapy teen prescription pharmacology allows us to offer tailored solutions as an alternative to outpatient programs, wilderness programs, and cookie-cutter, tough-love approaches. These strategies engage directly with young people and families, co-creating individual treatments within their environment.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance. We are a private recovery medicine and integrative mental health practice.

Do I have to come into your office?

Yes. While we are capable of following up and consulting remotely, we do require an initial in-person visit in order to maintain our high standard of care.

What conditions does Recovery Without Walls treat?

Recovery Without Walls specializes in innovative pain and addiction treatments, along with leading integrative mental health care for conditions such as major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders and more.

Will I have to continue with my existing medication/treatment program?

While traditional medications can still have their place in treatment protocols, we encourage clients to move away from ineffective long-term psychopharmacology or irrational polypharmacy into personally tailored protocols and regimens. Our practice focuses on effective pharmacological options that do not encourage dependency, nutritional solutions, and healthy, sustainable lifestyle decisions to facilitate healing of the brain and a restoration of optimal functioning, whatever that may mean to each client.

I was previously labeled as “Treatment-Resistant.” Can you help?

At Recovery Without Walls, no patient is ever written off by a label. Our patients are empowered through a comprehensive, holistic approach to treatment that involves creating a supportive and nurturing environment based on your individual needs and input.
